Nicole Mogul

Nicole Mogul received her doctorate in Science and Technology Studies (STS) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). She currently teaches STS in the graduate program at Virginia Tech. She is interested in public engagement with science and technology. In the past, she worked for the New York Bicycling Coalition and held several positions at a community radio station. Nicole is also interested in green design and has been working with her husband to start several facilities that recycle construction and demoltion debris. She is married with two children, residing in Reston, VA, where she is also chair of the Pedestrian and Bicycling Advisory Committee.
