Mark Jensen
Marc Jensen is a local advocate for pedestrians in California. He formed Los Gatos Peds to help mobilize support for pedestrians in his hometown. He helped form CaliforniaWalks, a state-wide pedestrian advocacy group. He became active in pedestrian issues when he set out to increase his son’s fitness by walking him to school, only to discover how dangerous the route was. When not lobbying for sidewalks, Marc is an engineer designing permanent implant medical devices for the treatment of heart disease.
