I am retired after a career in marketing and management. As a volunteer, I’m involved in walkability at the national, state and local levels.
2. In a sentence or less, describe why walking matters to you.
The ability to walk safely is a basic civil/human right denied to way too many in our country.
3. Name one thing anyone can do to make their community more walkable.
Walk and encourage/invite others to walk! (There are many subsequent actions that produce results, but this is available to all.)
4. What’s your favorite place to walk?
I love exploring new neighborhoods and landscapes.
