November 16, 2017- America Walks Hosts Gentrification and Displacement Webinar
On November 15, 2017, America Walks hosted a webinar titled, “Tackling Gentrification and Displacement in Creating Vibrant Communities.” Presenters shared experiences and resources that address concerns of gentrification, including job creation, affordable housing, and representation, in creating walkable communities.  The webinar and related resources can be viewed here.

November 15, 2017- New Data on Walking Commutes Released
More Americans are walking to work according to new data released by America Walks and the League of American Bicyclists. Over 4 million commutes were made by foot in 2016. Read more about the growing trend here.
