America Walks Attends Meeting on New Physical Activity Framework
On Tuesday December 6th the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) gathered many of the key movers and shakers in the physical activity world for a meeting around their new Physical Activity Framework. The meeting, held at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Total Health in Washington DC, was a space where key professionals reviewed the framework, discussed its implications, and began to plan for next steps.
One of the key goals is to get 25 million people to be more active so that we can save lives and save money.
America Walks is excited to be part of this conversation and looks forward to sharing more information as it becomes public.
