America Walks is hosting the first ever Freeway Fighters Grassroots Summit October 19-21, 2023 in Cincinnati, OH.
The Freeway Fighters Grassroots Summit is an opportunity to meet fellow advocates, share experiences, and collectively develop strategies that convince federal, state, and local governments to end policies supporting highways that damage communities.

The Freeway Fighters Grassroots Summit has two primary venues: the Trinity Episcopal Church for Friday, October 20th (326 Madison Avenue, Covington, KY) and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center for Saturday, October 21st (50 East Freedom Way, Cincinnati, OH).
The AC Hotel Cincinnati at the Banks (135 Joe Nuxhall Way, Cincinnati, OH) is the Summit’s recommended hotel. The hotel is a 22-minute walk/15-minute transit ride/7-minute bike ride/5-minute car ride from the Trinity Episcopal Church and a 4-minute walk from the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. It is right across the street from the Morlein Lager House, the Thursday evening Welcoming Reception venue.
