January 29, 2015- New Webinar Announced: What’s Happening in Health Care
America Walks’ “Inspiring Stories” webinar series continues February 20th by showcasing ways the health care sector is promoting walking and other healthy lifestyle choices. Beyond the traditional medical practices of diagnosis and treatment, hospitals and health insurance plans are starting to embrace chronic disease prevention and community wellness initiatives, which increasingly focus on walking and walkable community design.
