Walking to Work
Walking at work is a great starter to get moving, I have incorporated walking to work. The basic thing is I get up about 15 minutes early. I take the bus part way to work. When I get off the bus I walk 1/2 mile to work one day and 1 mile the next. I keep alternating that way, unless I decide to stop at the diner for breakfast then it's 3 days in a row I walk 1 mile. The main benefits I have are my blood pressure and blood sugars are down and my arthritic knee doesn't hurt as much. Oh the bridge I walk has gotten easier to walk and i may out walk some younger people which would boost my ego.
